How to use the dicom-viewer plugin?

I have installed the gird-dicom-viewer plugin, ran gird build and restarted the server so it now shows in the list of registered plugins:

However I don’t know how to use it. I thought it would load automatically when clicking the eye icon on a dicom file within the browser, but this just triggers a file download. Any hint would be appreciated.

If you upload a new dicom file, can you view it with the dicom viewer?

Hi David, thank you for replying. Sorry if this sounds silly but I’ve looked around and I have no idea how to access the dicom viewer and I don’t know where to look for info.
